Each 19-69 scent is inspired by a different era, culture, or setting, ranging from Africa, Europe, the States, and Asia. These beautiful candles are hand-crafted in Italy, down to the varnished bottles and screen-printed labels. The L'Air Barbès candle is based on the creator's memoirs from Paris during the 1990s. Inspired by the androgeney of Helmut Newton's 'Le Smoking' YSL photography, evocative of Paris' different personas; its concrete alleyways, le banlieue, and of course, the area Barbès-Rochechouart. Cold, light, and fresh.
Made from a blend of fine vegetable waxes in a traditional formula from 1961. Burns for approximately 48 hours. 200mL, 6.7 fl. oz.
